Partners come to HBS from a variety of backgrounds, and they seek a variety of activities during their time in Boston. Some plan to continue working in already-established careers. Some view this as a good time to explore new careers, while others choose to earn spending money through part-time or temporary positions. Working in Boston
International Partners, make sure that you apply for your J-2 work visa immediately when you arrive. Your work visa can take up to 4 months to come through, and you CANNOT start work without it.

Baker Library
Baker Library (the HBS Library) is a terrific resource for information on companies in this area and beyond. Only HBS students can access many of these online resources. However, partners may use the physical library. In the meantime, the site is still worth looking at.

The OCS offers career services to Harvard students and alumni only. However, partners may find some valuable resource information on the website.
